SolarWeek is a solar energy exhibition in the City of San Leandro engaging changemakers, solar entrepreneurs, designers, makers, students and citizens to ideate the possibilities of solar energy with the mission to inspire solutions to the challenges of establishing a renewable future.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is competing in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition challenging collegiate teams to design, build, and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive. Solar Cal Poly will be unveiling their design at their regional fundraiser in San Leandro.
For San Leandrans, elected officials, architects, Cal Poly alumni, donors and smart home related fields.

OSIsoft® is a data analytics company and the fourth largest employer in San Leandro. From April 28 – May 1, the company will be hosting its annual users conference engaging over 2000+ individuals from 45 different countries and 500+ organizations. Thursday, April 30 will be TechCon day for the conference.

Design your own solar-powered product with cash prizes! SfunCube Solar Incubator and Accelerator in Oakland, partnered with Hanergy, are hosting the Thin FIlm Solar Awards, a solar design competition using thin film photovoltaics to spur innovation of solar-powered products. Bring a laptop with your design tool of choice.
For designers, makers, San Leandrans, college students, entrepreneurs and solar energy related fields.
Saturday, May 2 | 10AM – 4PM
Engage, give input and participate in the exploration of installing a solar microgrid in San Leandro. This two-day hack is to brainstorm with community, business leaders and government the project potential of a Smart Grid, exploring concepts of the energy-internet, Grid of Things and innovation ecosystems of the future.
For San Leandrans, business owners, changemakers, elected officials, visioneers and smart city related fields.
Sunday, May 3 | 10AM – 4PM
