San Leandro is on the path to become the San Francisco Bay Area prototype city with it’s 18-mile gigabit fiber optic internet superhighway, leadership of the nation’s 3rd civic Chief Innovation Officer, and the evolution of the cross-sector innovation ecosystem of government, industry, education and community.

Smart City San Leandro Hack

SATURDAY, MAY 2  |  10AM – 4PM

Participate, engage and give input as you create ideas to transform San Leandro into a Smart City. This two-day hack is to brainstorm with community, business leaders and government the installation of a solar microgrid or Smart Grid as a pilot project to transform San Leandro into a Smart City through the “energy-internet.”
